We’re all working flat out at Plum Towers and really looking forward to a well-deserved break for Christmas! However, we’re also planning to make just a small difference by donating (and hopefully collecting) lots of children’s toys and gifts for Forth One’s Mission Christmas appeal. The gifts get distributed by Forth One to local kids who aren’t as fortunate as other kids, and families. A small gesture, but one that’s really heartfelt … they do an amazing job.
So if you’re doing the weekly shop (my least favourite task!) and feel inclined to pop another book, puzzle, DVD or anything really into your trolley we’d be only too happy to take it off your hands and deliver to the Forth team! We’ll even pop the kettle on and show you round our modest towers as a way of saying ‘thanks, it really is appreciated more than you might realise’.
