Adrian McDowall
Adrian has been writing and directing since 1999 and has won over fifty national and international awards, including two Scottish Advertising Awards, a Gold Award at the Roses, a Green Advertising Award, a nomination for XFM music video of the year and two BAFTA Awards for best short film.
His award-winning short documentaries Ma Bar and Standing Start have garnered acclaim across the globe, screening at Robert Redfords Sundance Film Festival and have been included by More4 in the Docs to see before you make yours strand.
This year Adrian has directed the prime-time drama, Taggart, for the ITV network and was selected to write and direct a feature film by maverick director Lars Von Triers - Zentropa, and Sigma Films, as one of eight award winning first-time feature film-makers for the new feature film collective Advance Party II.
In June he appeared on Screen Internationals prestigious Stars Of Tomorrow List.
