Laurie Castelli
Laurie's career in advertising began with a 6 year stint at BMP DDB, where above all, the importance of good ideas was given pride of place.
A change of discipline swiftly saw him directing commercials as diverse as AOL, Daily Telegraph, Tiny Computers, Telfonica, Samsung, Sony, Playstation , Gordon's Gin and the Edinburgh Sperm Clinic (which was short listed at Cannes and won a Scottish Advertising Award for Best Cinema Commercial).
Preferring not to cultivate one particular style, Laurie brings a strong visual overview and element of humanity into every script. He compliments his film work by regularly taking and exhibiting his still photography.
Born in Spain with Italian and French roots, Laurie now divides his time between London and Madrid. He's also not stranger to working in diverse markets, having filmed in Kenya, Moscow, Dubai, Madrid, Athens and Prague in the last few years.
